LOUBIER Law Firm advises on a daily basis in the areas of international contract law, foreign investment law, mergers and acquisitions, labour/employment law and international mobility in Asia. The firm also has an extensive practice in intellectual property law - mainly trademark law - as well as legal issues relating to international trade, in particular remedies under international conventions, Community law and national laws, and customs issues, both administrative and judicial, mainly in China (mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan). The firm also advises on international property sales and complex inheritance matters between France and China.

Career of Antoine Loubier in Asia and France
Antoine LOUBIER studied modern Chinese (press and media) at the Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) from 1997 to 1999, which enabled him to pass the HSK, the equivalent of the TOEFL for Chinese.
He began his career in Asia with a law firm in Taipei in 2000. Between 2003 and 2015, he contributed to the development of activities in South China for several French law firms, working closely with the renowned Chinese maritime firm WANGJING & Co (广东敬海律师事务所).
In May 2015, Antoine LOUBIER set up his own firm, LOUBIER & Associates Limited (HK), and joined the Cantonese law firm JUNHOU Law Firm (广东君厚律师事务所) as a “foreign consultant”.
Antoine LOUBIER was a permanent resident in China for over twenty years from 1997 to 2017 before returning to France to continue developing his professional activity in collaboration with his Asian partners. Since 2023, he is practising as Attorney-At-Law as owner and manager of SAS Cabinet LOUBIER.
Antoine LOUBIER also has extensive experience in international arbitration. From 2014 to 2018, Antoine was a foreign arbitrator with the SCIETAC South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (华南国际经济贸易仲裁委员会) in Shenzhen. Since 2021, Antoine LOUBIER has been an arbitrator with the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission “GZAC” (广州仲裁委员会). Antoine LOUBIER can also act as counsel for a party to a dispute submitted to arbitration in Europe, whether at the International Chamber of Commerce or the Swiss Arbitration Centre.
